Air targets in Arc Raiders are the ones that make you play worse on purpose. You stop looting, you stop thinking, and you start doing that panic-aim thing while something above you keeps chipping your health. That's why I keep the Seeker Grenade around, even when my bag's already tight on space and I'm eyeing "better" gear from the ARC Raiders Items pool. It's not flashy. It's not rare. But it turns messy sky fights into something you can actually control.

Why it's worth a slot

The big deal isn't that it hits hard, it's that it hits at all. The Seeker Grenade does the aiming for you, as long as you're close enough to get the lock. In practice, that means you can stay on the move, toss it without lining up some perfect shot, and still get reliable damage on a single ARC unit. It's the kind of tool that forgives you for playing under pressure. And yeah, the number on paper looks small, but repeated, guaranteed impacts beat a "maybe" mag dump every time.

Using it against a Rocketeer

Rocketeers are where this thing starts to feel unfair. They're tanky, they punish peeks, and they love catching you in the open. With Seekers, the plan gets simple: throw, break line of sight, listen for the hit, then throw again. On a full-health Rocketeer, expect about 10 or 11 solid connections before it drops. After roughly 7 hits you'll usually notice it coughing out heavier smoke, which is your cue it's close to done. Don't get greedy and step out early. Keep the rhythm and let the grenade do the risky part.

Cover tricks that keep you alive

The best part is how shameless you can be with cover. Containers, busted walls, stairwells, rubble piles—anything that blocks return fire becomes your best mate. You can arc a toss over the top, or clip it around a corner, and the grenade will still hunt the target. That lets you keep pressure up while you heal, reload, or just breathe for a second. And since they're only uncommon, you don't feel like you're burning priceless resources every time you use one. If you're trying to gear up without getting farmed, grabbing a stack of ARC Raiders Items cheap options like this can make the whole run feel way less brutal.
